Valve releases CS2 update addressing grenade mechanics and interface improvements
VentilOn the night of December 5th, Valve released a long-awaited update for CS2. Within this update, developers addressed several grenade-related issues and enhanced the in-game interface. Information detailing all the changes was published on the game's official website.
Key fixes include:
- Correction of the delay in adjusting grenade throwing force.
- Resolution of issues cancelling grenade throws when attempting to switch immediately after throwing.
- Ability to throw a grenade with medium force by simultaneously pressing primary and secondary attack keys.
- Resolution of several instances where players were getting stuck while sliding on surfaces.
- Display of ping information using player color.
- Correction of the MVP round calculation error for a series of five kills when teams had different player counts.
- Adjustment of bonus logic for teams with fewer players, accounting for excluded players.
