The ELEAGUE Major 2017 closed offline qualifiers are over, and 8 more participants of the first 2017 major tournament are known. Fnatic, Team Liquid, SK Gaming, Virtus.Pro, Astralis, FlipSid3 Tactics, Gambit, eSports and Natus Vincere received direct invites to the competitions as they have taken top 8 places at the previous major, and got the status of the legends.

The first 2017 tournament is scheduled on January 22 - 29 and is hosted by Fox Theatre in Atlanta, USA. 16 best teams of the teams will compete for the champion title and the prize pool of $1,000,000.
