It should be mentioned that there were 8 places in play-off stage, and 6 of them went to the teams which received direct invites, and only 2 places for the teams which passed the whole way from the qualifiers to the final stage of the tournament. However, these teams left the competition on the first stage. These teams participated in the final stage:

Astralis team, the winner of The ELEAGUE Major 2017, was in the center of everyone’s attention. Mostly, people though that after the phenomenal winning of the previous Major-tournament, the Danish team will easily become the winner of DreamHack Las Vegas 2017. One of the most interesting matches of the event was the game between Virtus.pro and Astralis, where the Polish team took a revenge. Virtus.pro won the matches with 16:4 and 16:3 score. It should be mentioned that one of these two maps was de_train. Virtus.pro lost this map in a match against the Danish team on The ELEAGUE Major 2017. The Polish team proved that result was nothing more than just an accident, and became the winners of DreamHack Las Vegas 2017. FaZe Clan, mousesports, Gambit eSports, Fnatic, compLexity Gaming, Misfits, Renegades and TyLoo joined the tournament after passing the qualifiers. There were many talks about a new old roster of the team, as many of us thought that the legendary roster could repeat their success and even to pass to the semifinals of the tournament. However, Swedish team did not even manage to pass to the play-off stage. It was a huge disappointment for all fans of the legendary team. As for mousesports, thisteam became one of two rosters which passed the qualifiers, demonstrated goodresults in the group stage, and joined the play-off stage. In the quarterfinalthey met future champions Virtus.pro, and nothing could stop Polish team fromwinning this match. It should be mentioned that this was the last championshipfor Niko in mousesports roster. Another European organization FaZe Clan boughthis contract for $500,000. The representatives of North American region disappointed everyone.CompLexityGaming, Misfits and Renegades became the weakest players of the tournament.Although they managed to pass qualifying stage winning matches against TeamLiquid, Immortals, LG and other teams, they tool the last places in groups, withtwo loses and zero wins. The only representatives of Chinese region was TyLoo and they also did not show impressive game. They took 4th place in Group B, where SK Gaming, Ninjas in Pyjamas and Cloud9 also played. As we thought, the Chinese players became the outsiders of the tournament. Summing up all abovementioned, none of the unexpected situations happened on the event. Everything was quite predictable: SK Gaming became the finalists, Virtus.pro won the championship, Astralis could not resists the power of Virtus.pro, mousesports passed to the quarterfinals, and Natus Vincere left the event on the quarterfinal stage of the tournament. We must admit, that Virtus.pro receive their $200,000 by right. According to Anton «Sneg1» Cherepennikov, who is the owner of Virtus.pro, Wiktor «TaZ» Wojtas will get Mercedes Benz E-Class from Sneg1. Previously, he promised TaZ that if Virtus.pro win the tournament, Wiktor will get a business class car.
