ESL announced teams that received invites to European and North American closed qualifiers to IEM Oakland 2017. 12 teams will participate in the tournament. 9 of them have already got the invites. 3 more slots will be given to the teams that will demonstrate the best results on regional qualifiers. Closed qualifiers to Europe and North America will take place on October 2. The last slot in the tournament will be given to the winner of the closed qualifiers in SEA. Yesterday, Team LDLC and ex-Outlaws managed to get slots in the closed qualifiers after taking two first places in open qualifiers. They will join such teams as Fnatic, North, Natus Vincere, BIG, mousesports and EnVyUs.
