The announcement of the high-performance PlayStation 5 Pro console is expected to take place by the end of the third quarter of 2024. This forecast comes from the well-known insider Tom Henderson, who was the first to report on the development of this system. Following the official unveiling, a swift launch of sales is planned – the window between the announcement and the start of sales will be minimal.

"Sony has no plans to disrupt sales of the standard versions of PlayStation 5 by announcing the PlayStation 5 Pro 9-10 months before its release," Henderson noted, commenting on speculations about the possible unveiling of the new console at the January CES 2024 exhibition.
