According to an official statement posted on their social media channels, the release date of the game has been moved to January to allow the developers at Pieces Interactive additional time to work on the project.

Alone in the Dark is being developed by the Swedish studio THQ Pieces Interactive and is planned for release on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
The game features well-known actors such as David Harbour (from the series Stranger Things and the movie Black Widow) and Jodie Comer (from the series Killing Eve and the movie Free Guy). They portray the main characters Edward Carnby and Emily Hartwood, who explore the mysterious mansion of Derceto.
Additionally, a free playable prologue for the game called Grace in the Dark is already available. This prologue tells the story of a young girl named Grace Saunders as she wanders through the mansion, trying to mail a letter.
