Moze in Honkai: Star Rail Version 2.5 – New Leaks Reveal Buffs and Nerfs Ahead of Release
Recent leaks from Honkai: Star Rail have unveiled some balance changes to Moze's abilities. Moze is a new character set to join the playable roster in version 2.5, expected to arrive in either the first or second phase of the update. Described as cold-blooded and an expert in intelligence services, Moze is a four-star Lightning unit who follows the Path of the Hunt, indicating a focus on single-target DPS.
Moze was officially introduced in a recent drip marketing campaign, revealing his assassin-inspired costume complete with a purple hood that partially covers his head. Following this reveal, several leaks from HomDGCat detailed three key balance adjustments to Moze's kit. According to these leaks, Moze's ultimate, Dash In Gash Out, will now deal Lightning damage equal to 270% of his attack (up from 250%). However, one of his traces, Daggerhold, will have its action advancement reduced to 20% (down from 30%). It’s important to note that these figures might change before Moze’s official release in version 2.5.
Upcoming Changes to Moze in Honkai: Star Rail
- The damage bonus from his technique will now last for two rounds instead of one.
- Daggerhold trace will advance Moze's action by 20% (previously 30%).
- His ultimate will deal Lightning damage equal to 270% of his attack (up from 250%).
Additionally, the developers are reportedly making another tweak to Moze's kit. When using his technique, Moze enters a stealth mode, rendering him undetectable by enemies. If he initiates combat from stealth, he gains a 30% damage bonus for two rounds, an increase from the previous duration of one round.
In summary, Moze is receiving a mix of buffs and a slight nerf that could enhance his overall offensive potential. His ultimate will now deal 20% more damage to a single target, and the duration of his technique’s buff will be extended. It will be interesting to see if any further adjustments are made to his kit before his official debut.
Moze is positioned as a DPS unit who marks an enemy as "Prey" and deals additional damage to that target. His ultimate also triggers a follow-up attack from his Talent. Besides Moze, the upcoming version 2.5 will also introduce Feixiao and Lingsha. According to the leaked banner schedule, Feixiao and Moze will be available from September 9 to October 1, while Lingsha will be featured on a limited banner from October 1 to 21.
