This fan project emerges during a nostalgic time for Halo enthusiasts, as the original Halo: Combat Evolved will celebrate its 25th anniversary in 2026. Xbox has already begun teasing future plans for the milestone, with John Friend, Xbox’s Head of Gaming Consumer Products, hinting at exciting developments to mark the occasion.
