«The selection of Ukraine as the country to host one of the largest Dota 2 tournaments - The Kiev Major has played the considerable role in the making the decision. Also, we considered that our country had presented to the world not just one world champion in different disciplines and the profound tradition. Finally, the cybersport in Ukraine has been developing and living for more than 10 year and first tournaments have been carried in our country.»

It is worth to remind that previously the cybersport was accepted in China, Korea, USA, Germany, India, Denmark, Sweden and other countries and the cybersport was added to the school program in China and Sweden.
