ProLeague 22 Odds & Predictions: Who’s Favored to Win?
ESL Pro League Season 22 attracts a lot of attention in the world of eSports. The qualification rounds are long over and we have the official roster on our hands. The best of the best are preparing for the main showdown scheduled for the timeframe from September 27th to October 1st 2025. It was a lot of fun watching all these teams going through their qualification rounds, and the excitement of finally making it settling in for teams that did it. The first stage of the ESL Pro League Season 22 is only a few days away, so before we move to the favourites to win it all, let's see which teams have made it.
European Qualifications
European CS2 teams carry a lot of weight in the world of eSports. When you have Team Liquid, Fnatic and Nemiga Gaming in your bracket, you'd expect that at least one of these teams will make it. Yet, that's not what happened. Team Liquid fell to Sashi eSport, while the latter also took down Fnatic during the Stage 2. With these two out of the picture the door opened for an Ukrainian outlet Team Next Level, who took out 9INE, Passion UA, and Sashi eSport out of competition. TNL took it all the way and after two more wins over PARIVISION and Nemiga, they've secured a spot at the Pro League.
North America Qualifications
It wasn't without fun in North America either. M80 bounced back after a massive disappointment that BLAST.tv Austin Major was for the team. Reaching Stage 2 was a cake walk for them as they took down the likes of Outfit 49, BLUEJAYS, and MarcaRegistrada on the way to the final bracket. Their only loss came in the hands of Getting Info, but they bounced back with a triumph over Marsborne which set up the M80 vs. Getting Info final rematch. After a 2:0 win in the final they booked their card to the ProLeague 22 together with NRG. When in Sweden, M80 will be one of the underdogs, so first learn how to bet on ESL - ProLeague 22 before you place any wager on the competition.
South America Qualifications
The regional competitions in the south are always filled with passion, as the goal of competing internationally carries a lot of weight. At the centre of attention were the likes of Imperial eSports, elevate, and 9z.These three teams were quick to secure their spots at the Stage 2 of the qualifiers, where Imperial defeated the 9z team, while Legacy took down Sharks eSports. It was the Imperial team who managed to win the final and continue their fine form achieved at the Major. While Legacy took another win in the lower bracket, it was only enough for the second spot, while Shark Sports lost their spot entirely. In the rematch Legacy was better than Imperial, becoming the team to qualify.
Asia Qualifiers
Asian gamers are some of the top contenders in the world and seeing the teams such as TYLOO, and Lyn Vision Gaming competing for their spot at the ProLeague 22 was exciting. Stage 2 was filled with big name teams from Asia including the likes of IHC Esports, Chinggis Warriors and HOTU. It was the HOTU team that took their skills all the way, and after defeating everyone at the Nuke and Train maps. Their place is well deserved, and they will aim high when the ProLeague 22 starts.
After the qualifying rounds, the number of selected teams has made it all the way to ESL Studio in Stockholm, Sweden, where the Stage 1 of ESL Pro League Season 22 will commence. The competition is on from September 27th all the way up to October 1st. The 24 teams leading the best CS2 battles available are Team Vitality, Team Spirit, MongolZ, Team Falcons, MOUZ, G2 Esports, FURIA Esports, Aurora, Natus Vincere, FaZe, Astralis, 3DMAX, Heroic, Virtus.pro, GamerLegion, Legacy, M80, NRG Esports, TNL Esports, Lynn Vision, Fluxo, B8, HOTU, and Rooster. Based on the ESL - ProLeague 22 betting odds the following teams are the early favorites to win it all.
Team Vitality
With their odds set at 2.90, team Vitality are the early favourites to go all the way. The main reason why they're favoured by the online casino and sports betting outlets such as Stake.com is their consistency throughout the 2025 season. One could argue that Stake is favouring them due to sponsorship reasons, but we all know that the two brands are cooperating because they're leaders in their respective domains. Of course, an impressive win by team Vitality at the IEM Katowice 2025 speaks more than words. Their roster is filled with top CS 2 names such as ApEX, Ropz, mezii, ZywOo, and flameZ. The thing to watch out when it comes to the favorites is that Team Vitality has succumbed to pressure in some of their most recent duels, the most notable being the one at the eSports World Cup where the MongolZ took the best of them. Also, team Spirit and Mongolz are coming for their heads, so the pressure is certainly there. With all that said, they remain the favorites with 2.90 odds, and between 30% and 40% of chances going all the way.
Team Spirit
The second contenders are called Team Spirit and we are sure you've heard of them. They've had some strong performances during 2025 with IEM Cologne standing out, and the BLAST Bounty Season 2 being right there. Unlike Team Vitality Team Spirit thrives under the pressure, and they've been building momentum for this competition. Team Vitality takes pride in their map knowledge and also they hold an impressive head to head record with most teams in the competition. While having a good roster that consists of the likes of chopper, sh1ro, tN1R, donk, and zweih, in the past they became known as losing big matches to the same opponents, mostly Team Vitality. Also, both fans and pundits argue that the frequent roster changes they undergo affect their consistency on the big stage which shouldn't be an issue this time around. Their odds of 4.00 signal that the chances of winning the upcoming tournament land under 30% threshold. MongolZ
MongolZ are in a similar spot like Team Spirit. Their main strength is that they can pull an upset like no other team can. Surprising performances have become their trademark to an extent. If you need proof that MongolZ can take on the best teams and come out victorious just take a look at their last encounter with Vitality. They are coming to this tournament on the back of a major win, their momentum is pretty impressive, and MongolZ are not a team that should be underestimated, and with the odds of 4.00 we see that the bookies are already doing it. When the stakes are high, MongolZ bring out their best game, and with being adept at a variety of maps, they are a team to look out for in Stockholm. What slots them at the spot No3 of early ProLeague 22 favorites is the fact that they're less experienced than the two teams slotted above them. The number of finals and high stake games they've participated in is quite lower compared to Vitality and Spirit. Also, when looking at the sheer quality of the rosters, Senzu, Techno4K, bLitz, mzinho, and 910 might be a level below what Vitality and Spirit bring to the table in terms of roster quality. With their odds of winning the named competition stand at 4.00, just like for Team Spirit, they have below 20% chances of winning the competition. We see them as the real dark horses at the 2025 Pro League 22 season in Stockholm, Sweden.
Team Falcons
When you see the odds of winning the ProLeague 22 Season set at 7.50 you don't really see Team Falcon making it, right? Yet, they are one of the best teams to do it as far as CS 2 goes. At the end of the day when we talk about Counter Strike 2 players, the likes of NiKo, TeSeS, m0NESY, kyxsan, and kyousuke do ring a bell. Of course they do, these are the names that have marked the CS 2 stage for years now. The number of events they've won in heavy competition is not to be underestimated, and with solid firepower on their roster they can touch the big three, but only if their squad manages to produce more than a few touches of brilliance during the tournament. What plagues Team falcon and stops them from elevating their game is the inconsistency. When facing the top dogs in CS 2 world they often underperform. Unlike the teams we have up top that are adept in the majority of maps put in front of them, there are some that make Team Falcons play weaker than their usual selves. With their odds being set at 7.50 you can conclude they are not a top tier team, but that they are also not without any chances of winning. If you're planning on betting on the upcoming tournament, consider Team Falcons but also remember they might disappoint you when you most need them.
MOUZ
The team MOUZ finds itself in a similar spot like Team Falcons. They're sold overall. Usually MOUZ manages to go through the groups stages of competitions they play, win a few playoff rounds, and manage it to the finals too. What they're lacking is a triumph on the big stage that would elevate their reputation. They are more than solid, know their maps, and have decent experience playing the top dogs. You could call them a contending team, but one that just lacks that little something to make it all the way up to the top. The roster is good, and the names of Brollan, Spinx, torzsi, jimpphat and xertioN mean something in the world of CS2. The reason to fear putting your hopes on MOUZ is that they are known as a team that often collapses under the pressure of high stake games. Usually they lose on maps they are favoured to win, making their runs hard to predict. The moment they learn how to behave in clutch moments will be the time when they will become one of the top contenders. That day might be close, and if you want to wager on them remember that anything is possible, but also that their chances of going all the way stand at between 10%-15%.
G2 eSports
At odds set at 8.50, G2 eSports have better chances from the other 18 teams, but quite a bit lower compared to the teams we've listed above. The roster consists of huNter-, malbsMd, SunPayus, heavyGod, and MATYS is an experienced one. They're actually quite good, and have managed to pull more than a couple upsets in the past. Their ability to create the unexpected is what makes the true dark horse of the ProLeague 22 this season. If they just click at the right moment, they might turn into an unstoppable force. Depending on their form, G2 eSports might be hit or miss in this tournament. The pressure to succeed is there as at recent tournaments they've been always taken down by one of the top teams, showing that they need to elevate their game, and there's less than ten days to do so. The desire to prove the world wrong and that being the No1 ranked team and winning the BLAST Open Fall 2025 was not a fluke. The odds of 8.50 are tempting, but remember, there's a reason why they've given only 5%-10% chances of winning it all.
Come October, we will know whether the odds did us any favours. The early favorites to win the ProLeague 22 season are already well known, but our gut feeling tells us that we might be in for a few surprises come the end of the tournament. If you feel the same way as we do, maybe this list of ours should be read from bottoms up.
